Bringing the Cisco VoIP experience to the conference room, the CP-7937G provides a scalable, high security communications endpoint for conferencing and executive offices.
Improving on traditional conference phone models, the CP-7937G IP Phone features wideband voice codes, expanded room coverage up to 1200 square ft, and a large, easy to read backlit LCD screen - making it an ideal platform for high quality collaborative calling.
While the CP-7937G supports traditional power sources such as the PWR-CUBE3, it also also introduces support for IEEE 802.3af power over Ethernet, removing the need for additional power cubes, dongles, or injectors, allowing for a simple, low profile installation without a huge mess of wires and accessories.
Can I power this device with a DC Adaptor?
Not directly. The CP-7937G relies on Power over Ethernet, meaning you will need to connect it to a compatible PoE switch, or use a separate power injector (CP-7937-PWR-SPL).
I want to use my PoE switch to power this phone - how far away from my switch can I deploy the 7937G?
The maximum recommended distance for PoE is 100 meters. If you need go further than this, we recommend using a local power source, such as a 7937-PWR-SPL or other compatible power injection system.
Will the 7937G work with a UC500?
Yes, but only with the US Locale pack - if you are outside the US you will need to configure a second locale for this device.
Can I use SIP on the 7937G?
No - there are some workarounds to achieve this, but we recommend the CP-8831 conference phone if you require SIP.
